Residency activities  include a reading/workshop with Penn State composers, a guest lecture, flute and percussion masterclasses, and a collaboration with Other Arts Ensemble.

Caballito Negro and Other Arts Ensemble will premiere Baljinder Sekhon’s new concerto Five Rings written especially for Caballito Negro at the end of the residency with Penn State’s music department. Caballito Negro will also perform Gemma Peacocke’s Albatross, in a new arrangement for flute and vibraphone.
